Fees

Fees are guided by the suggested consultation rate set by the Australian Psychological Society.  For the 2025–2026 financial year, the APS recommends a rate of $318. For a standard 50-minute consultation with Laura the cost is $240.

If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your General Practitioner (GP), you can receive a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session, helping to reduce your out-of-pocket cost. An MHCP provides access for up to 10 Medicare-subsidised psychology sessions each calendar year. Typically, GP’s refer clients for an initial block of 6 sessions, which is then followed by a review and referral for an additional 4 sessions.

Private Health Insurance

If you are a member of a private health fund, you may be entitled to claim a rebate for psychological services. Many private health funds offer rebates for psychological services.  If your private health fund does offer rebates, the amount you can claim will depend on your level of cover. For more information, it is recommended that you contact your private health fund directly.

TAC, WorkCover and NDIS

Currently, support is not being offered to those seeking sessions through TAC, WorkCover, or the NDIS. If you are requiring support through these schemes, please contact your provider for a list of registered practitioners.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

As sessions are especially reserved for clients there is a 48-hour cancellation policy detailed in the client agreement.  A fee is charged for no-show appointments.  If you need to change or cancel your appointment outside of the 48-hour window, please get in touch via email or phone.
